"When it comes to Northeast China, people from other regions probably first think of the red-and-green floral-patterned cloth. In early childhood, such red-and-green floral quilts were commonly seen, usually featuring dragon and phoenix patterns, widely used as wedding quilts for newlyweds. Today, they have become rare, yet they remain cherished in our memories."
This series of works is titled *Red-and-Green Floral Quilts*, one of the most distinctive cultural elements of Northeast China, consisting of two pieces. The two works feature red backgrounds with green flowers and green backgrounds with red flowers, respectively, with silver threads used as accents. Through striking color contrasts, the red-and-green floral patterns of Northeast China are vividly presented before the viewer's eyes.
