Meeting On the Narrow Road

The "Narrow Road" series of jewelry was created during the Covid 19 period, a time when I often felt that people were drifting further away from "beauty." Jewelry was left gathering dust, a phenomenon I refer to as the "Narrow Road," alluding to the idea of "encounter." Using traditional lacquer and metalworking techniques, the pieces seemingly aimlessly assemble fragments of craftsmanship, forming a cohesive visual narrative. These scenes are not real-life moments but rather aesthetic experiences once gained from wandering through nature. When worn, they allow the wearer to "encounter" these inner landscapes of beauty, no matter their external circumstances.
